The 1176 is a high-end FET compressor found in pretty much every professional recording studio on the planet. Incredible on vocals, guitars, drums, or in fact anything in the right hands, the 1176LN is an invaluable piece of analogue outboard. The Universal Audio 1176LN is based on the original blackface D and E revisions of the Urei classic.
